The Jay-Z Jeep That Could Have Been
There was almost a Jay-Z Edition of the new Jeep Commander. We already know Jay loves Jeep, as he and Beyonce trek around in their flashy 4-door Jeep Wrangler (ever since he drove around the set for his video Empire State Of Mind).
But the American auto maker almost officially joined forces with the superstar rapper and producer, to create a Jay-Z Commander edition.
This news comes from Forbes magazine editor Zack O’Malley Greenburg – who penned an unofficial bio on the artist: “Empire State of Mind: How Jay-Z Went from Street Corner to Corner Office.”
According to other unofficial reports,the Jay-Z edition of a Jeep Commander” would have been painted in the rap-trepreneur’s own shade of blue, fitted with 22-inch chrome wheels and cream-colored leather interior. A digital entertainment system would have been preloaded the Swagga wagon for real with the entirety of Jay-Z’s discography.”
Maybe one day Jeep / Chrysler will reconsider, because we would certainly consider buying one.
