AEV J8 – Best. Tuned Jeep. EVER.
Jeep’s J8 may look like a variant your redneck uncle put together on weekends out of an old Wrangler, but it’s actually a military grade Jeep, constructed in Ohio, capable of last three times as long as the regular (civilian) model. American Expedition Vehicles saw interest in the non-military market and designed a model for those not stuck in a desert warzone halfway across the globe.
The AEV J8 Travels By Land:
AEV’s Jeep J8 is equipped with a VM Motori 2.4-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel. It’s great for tackling steep mountain peaks along with the hardest terrain on Earth…it does pretty good in mud and sand pits too. The J8 is totally in its element messing around in the dirty, climbing large rocks like a kid without fear.

You don’t have to worry about drowning in the J8, as it’s powerful engine can handle water holes up to its windshield. There’s also no fear about messing up your radio, ruining your carpet, or doing harm to the cushy seat padding – the J8 has none of these things. It is bare bones, functional, and really fun to drive!
Even in the Air!
Take the Jeep J8 up a steep cliff and jump off, this puppy can almost fly! “It’s like a billy goat with an attitude.” says Jalopnik, we couldn’t agree more. It is difficult justifying the $50,000 price tag, maybe you should keep this purchase a secret from your wife.
